Raised in Aurora, Ontario, Isabella started dancing at the age of 3 at a local dance studio. After deciding she wanted to pursue ballet professionally, she started taking classes at Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto and at eleven, was accepted into the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School’s Professional Division.
Throughout her years in the school, Isabella danced in productions including Le Corsaire, La Fille Mal Gardée, Fairy Doll and Copellia among other contemporary works. She was also a three-time choreographic winner in the First Steps Choreographic competition and was selected to participate in a dance exchange with the New Zealand School of Dance.
After graduating in 2015, Isabella trained in the Aspirant Program at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet under the direction of Stephane Leonard for two years and performed and toured with Ballet Company in their productions of The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.
Isabella loves to perform and transforming into different characters to tell different stories where she finds she can truly express herself.
