What does it mean to be alive? We are all driven by an understanding of the common bounds of structure, language, purpose… and time. These themes are the foundation of the mortal experience. But, what happens when we move across to the other side to encounter our silhouette in the afterlife? Yukichi Hattori imagines being released from the living and examines our innate desire to explore what awaits us beyond in his debut production of Ghosts.
No boundaries. No bonds. No time.

Inspired by a lifelong respect and admiration for glaciers and the water sources they feed, Kiera Keglowitsch brings the underdiscussed topic of the effect of climate change on the Earth’s glacial bodies to the forefront with powerful movement, imagery, sounds and emotions in her third choreographic piece, On the Edge.
Using music from the soundtrack Chasing Ice composed by J. Ralph, we witness the underappreciated impact of glaciers and their importance to human survival. Focusing on the juxtaposition of their massive size and power, combined with their hidden vulnerability, the audience will leave having a better understanding, compassion and awareness for these fragile world wonders.
